What does "fully furnished" include?
Everything you need to live comfortably from day one: furniture in every room, a fully equipped kitchen with tableware, pots, pans and utensils, plus fresh bedding and towels. You arrive with your suitcase, and the home is ready.
Can I register my CPR address at the apartment?
Yes. CPR registration is possible, it's your own apartment. You rent on a standard Danish lease in your own name, and your lease can be used directly for CPR registration with Odense Kommune. We provide all the documentation you need. Read our step-by-step guide: How to get a CPR number in Odense.
How does booking from abroad work?
Four steps. First, we arrange a live video viewing of the apartment. Second, you receive the lease to review and sign digitally. Third, after the lease is signed by both parties, you pay the deposit to our Danish company account. Fourth, we meet you at the apartment for the key handover. We never ask for payment before you have a signed lease.
Can I pay from a foreign bank account?
Yes, no problem. Deposit and rent can be paid from a foreign bank account, so you do not need a Danish bank account or MitID before you arrive. We know the catch-22 of needing an address for a CPR number and a CPR number for a bank account, and we work around it with you.
What is the notice period?
The notice period is 3 months, which is the Danish standard. If you already know your departure date, we can agree on a fixed end date in the lease before you sign, so you are not paying rent after you leave. Tell us your dates and we will set it up.
When do I hand over the apartment at the end of my stay?
You hand over the apartment 14 days before your lease ends. Those two weeks are part of your lease and give us time to make sure the home is freshly renovated and well maintained for the next tenant, the same way it was prepared for you when you arrived.
Is internet included?
No, internet is not included in the rent. But we can arrange a connection as an add-on so it is live from the day you move in, just mention it when booking. Otherwise you arrange your own subscription, and we are happy to point you to the providers that cover your building.
How long can I rent for?
Leases of 3 months or more are possible on most of our apartments. The monthly rent depends on the minimum lease length you choose: the longer the commitment, the lower the rent. You can see the exact pricing tiers on each apartment page.
What deposit do you require?
A deposit equal to three months' rent applies. It is only paid after both parties have signed the lease, to our Danish company account (Bolio Ejendomsadministration ApS, CVR 45079449). It is held according to Danish rental law and settled when you move out, after the standard inspection of the apartment.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Utilities (heating, water, electricity) are paid as a fixed monthly on-account amount alongside the rent and settled annually against actual consumption. The on-account amount is stated on each apartment page.
Who am I actually renting from?
You rent directly from Bolio, a local property group that has owned, developed and managed homes in Odense since 2013. We both own, furnish and rent out the apartment, so you have one single point of contact for everything. Our office is at Ørstedsgade 19A in central Odense, and our team handles your lease and your stay. No agencies, no subletting chains.
Can my company be the tenant on the lease?
Yes. Your company can be the contracting party, with the employee registered as the resident, and the employee can still register their CPR address at the apartment. Companies can also substitute the occupant during the lease period, for example when an employee rotates home. See our corporate housing page for the full setup.
How is rent paid and invoiced?
Companies are invoiced and pay via LeverandørService (Danish supplier direct debit) or by bank transfer, including from foreign accounts by IBAN. Private tenants pay via BetalingsService or bank transfer. Rent is VAT-exempt.
Can you furnish a different apartment for me?
In many cases, yes. Bolio's portfolio covers hundreds of homes across Odense. If none of the listed apartments fit your needs, contact us with your dates, budget and requirements, and we will look at what we can furnish for you.
Can I purchase additional services such as cleaning?
Yes. We are happy to quote regular cleaning, weekly or biweekly, and tailored extras such as a work-from-home setup or internet from day one. Bedding and linen are always included from the start; you handle washing and changing yourself during your stay. Add-ons are billed separately, contact us for a quote.
Is the apartment cleaned before I arrive?
Yes. Every apartment is professionally cleaned and prepared with fresh bedding before your move-in.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are possible in several of our apartments upon agreement. Mention your pet when you contact us and we will confirm what is possible for the specific home.
How do I book a viewing?
